Internationalization Policy

Our internationalization policy aims to enhance, develop, and diversify international collaborations in the fields of education, research and development, and social contribution to provide the multicultural living experience and intercultural interaction integral to education on campus, cultivate individuals with intercultural competence and global citizenship awareness, enhance the country's competitiveness through the development of diverse and multidimensional relationships, contribute to the development of human capital and economy, support structural regulations and transformation, increase the number of applications, and disseminate them through the enhancement of diverse and multidimensional relationships.

International Education Cooperation

Galatasaray University, despite being a young institution, has become one of the leading universities in Turkey due to its strong educational and cultural infrastructure. Additionally, it is well-recognized in Europe. A consortium consisting of thirty French higher education institutions has been established under the leadership of Galatasaray University and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and a Scientific Cooperation Agreement has been signed.

Erasmus+ Exchange Program

Galatasaray University has agreements with various universities in Europe, primarily in France, under the Erasmus+ Exchange Program, a European Union program aimed at increasing cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe. Our students have the opportunity to study and intern at partner universities under these agreements.

International Relations Office (IRO)

The International Relations Office (IRO) is responsible for managing the university's international activities and connections. Within this scope, all administrative matters related to the Bologna Process, mobility of students and faculty members under the Erasmus exchange program, scholarships and internships abroad, monitoring of international projects, and academic agreements with foreign counterparts fall within the Office's area of ??responsibility.

Additionally, relationships with the National Agency and other domestic institutions regarding these matters are also managed by the IRO.
