Galatasaray University has research and application centers operating in the fields of natural sciences-engineering and social-human sciences to support the practical dimension of programs implemented in academic units and to support research. These centers aim to differentiate from existing programs and research through interdisciplinary approaches.

Our Library and Documentation Department Presidency aims to meet the research, education, and teaching needs in line with higher education objectives by selecting and acquiring all kinds of publications and information sources related to relevant scientific disciplines, and ensuring their service to our university's faculty members, students, and researchers in a systematic manner.


BAPSİS | Principles and Procedures of Application
Scientific Research Projects (SRP) are scientific projects expected to contribute to science in their field when completed, and contribute to the technological, economic, social, and cultural development of the country. These projects may involve participation from national and/or international institutions or organizations, both within and outside Galatasaray University. They aim to train scientists and establish and develop research infrastructure.
Galatasaray University's Priority Research Areas for the 2018-2022 Period are grouped under the following main headings: Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Knowledge/Information Society and Digital Transformation, Decision Making, Uncertainty and Management, Smart Systems and Services for Society, Changing Social Structures and Governance, and Sustainable Development.
